4 Simple things you can do today to lower blood sugars

  1. Eat a savoury Breakfast

Sugar and carbs at Breakfast sends you on a glucose rollercoaster for the rest of the day.

Because your body is most sensitive to glucose in the morning it’s more beneficial and helps sustain your energy better by avoiding the cereal and having a savoury breakfast rich with protein and fibre, like eggs and sautéed veggies.

2. Eat your veggies first

Getting those veggies rich in fibre first help slow down the digestion of glucose from carbs you may eat later in a meal. A salad as a starter is a great way to do this!

3. Have 1 Tablespoon of vinegar before a meal.

Vinegar contains acetic acid which is known to cut the glucose spike up to 30%. Just one tablespoon of any kind of vinegar will do the trick.

4. Move for 10 minutes.

Muscles use up glucose, so even just a short 10 minute walk after a meal can help reduce your glucose levels. It doesn’t have to be a full workout.

There’s one more Bonus tip and it’s my favourite one! The pink drink I have every morning also helps balance your blood sugars along with other health benefits and is a super delicious way to do that.
